The AA Roadside Assistance operation has been declared as an essential service and will continue to provide Roadside assistance to our customers during the 21-day period.
Should they be called out, they will dispatch a recovery unit to assist the customer, recovering the vehicle in question. The customer will be returned to a place of safety which is presumably their home.
The vehicle will be taken to an AA depot and will be stored at the AA depot at no cost until such time as normal operations resume post the national lockdown.
What we are attempting to resolve is what actions we can undertake to get customers into a loan unit to keep the customer mobile.
As we get more clarity, we will share these details with you.
